On Saturday morning we took a taxi for the half-hour drive to the Piedra Herrada Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary. The Monarch butterflies were already flying around at the highway stop when we arrived about 10:45 (they rest on trees until the day warms up). Three videos and 13 photos follow:
