Cuaresma (Lent) in La Merced

At La Merced, our neighborhood church, the Brotherhood creates a new
carpet inside the church in front of the statue of Christ every Thursday during
Lent. The "huerta" remains in place for the week, and is replaced with a new
"huerta"
the following week.
